Terms & Conditions

Bookings/Deposit:

• 20 December – 10 January: Accommodation bookings of 5 or more consecutive nights only.
• A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking.
• The balance is to be paid upon arrival.

 Currency:

• We accept cash (South African Rand) and credit cards (Master and Visa Card).
• We do not accept traveller cheques or bank cheques.

 Cancellation policy:

In the event of notification of cancellation – to be in writing and receipt thereof acknowledged by Gästehaus Pinkepank in order to be valid – the following cancellation fee shall apply on the full booking.

• Cancellations more than 30 days before arrival, we will retain 15% of the total booking value as a handling charge.
• Cancellations 22 – 30 days before arrival, we will retain 35% of your total booking value.
• Cancellations 15 – 21 days before arrival, we will retain 50% of your total booking value.
• Cancellations 0 – 14 days before arrival, we will retain 100% of your total booking value.
• Non-arrival or early departure: No refund – the total booking value is forfeit / payable.
• Act of God: No refund

  Arrival and departure:

• On arrival, rooms are at guest’s disposal from 2pm onwards.
• Please notify us if your arrival is after 5pm. You might waive your reservation failing to do so.
• Please vacate your room by 10am on departure day.
• Auxiilliary costs and costs of food and beverages consumed are to be settled upon departure.

 General conditions:

• Children 12 years and older are welcome: we have an unfenced pool and thus have to follow safety legislation.
• Please be aware that we do not allow pets.
• Smoking is prohibited indoors.
• Right reserved to change tariffs and conditions as specified above at any time.
